Caleb is an Honours graduate of the Mohawk College Applied Music Program, and has over 12 years of teaching experience. Caleb is a versatile musician who performs professionally in a number of different styles, including jazz, rock, funk, Latin and country.

Hilandi du Toit is a professional musician and music teacher who relocated from South Africa in 2022. She has vast experience in music composition, arrangement and performance. She is an established singer/songwriter and guitarist (rhythm acoustic, bass) djembe, cajon and ukulele player. She is an inspirational and committed teacher who focuses on an individualized curriculum to accommodate all levels of competency.
Her rate is $34 per half hour lesson.

Mike has over 20 years experience as a professional drummer and has toured through over 30 countries with a variety of artists such as Castle, Steel City Rovers and Classic Albums Live. He has played on over 20 different albums as a studio musician and runs a home recording YouTube channel Called Black Bridge Sound. Mike has taught for over 15 years and teaches all styles of drumming.

Ryan has taught the drums since 1994 and is a graduate of Applied Music at Mohawk College. He has played for artists such as Derek St.Holmes (Ted Nugent), Richie Cannata (Billy Joel) and many more. Ryan has studied with teachers that include Bernard Purdie, Gregg Bissonette, and Chester Thompson. Ryan teaches Pop, R&B, Rock, Reggae, and Jazz styles of drumming and reading drum music.

Will’s journey in music began in 2003, and his passion has only grown stronger over the years. A dedicated and versatile drummer, he blends technical skill with creativity to inspire students of all levels. Will holds a diploma in Jazz Performance from Mohawk College and studied Percussion at Humber College, refining his craft under the guidance of industry legends like Mark Kelso, Anthony Michelli, Kevin Dempsey, Adrean Farrugia, Matt Halpern, Lorne Nehring, Sophia Perlman, Ted Warren, and Navene Koperwies.
With experience in live sessions across jazz, funk, R&B, hard rock, indie rock, metal, and more, Will brings a dynamic and adaptable approach to teaching. As a proud Murat Diril Cymbals artist, he continues to push boundaries in his craft while sharing his knowledge with aspiring drummers.
Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, Will’s patient and encouraging teaching style will help you achieve your musical goals. Lessons are available at Long & McQuade, starting in September.

The Bumblebee Orchestra is an educational ensemble that provides instruction to string players
that are reading and playing at the Grade 2 Suzuki or RCM Level. Students must be able to read music at a beginner level. For ages 7 - 14. From 5:00-6:30pm.
GARDEN CITY ORCHESTRA

Garden City Orchestra was founded by Rosemary Hale in 2015 and plays pieces from the great composers of both past and present. Members must play at a Suzuki/RCM grade 3 level. Rehearsals are Thursdays evenings from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
Lakeside Wind Ensemble is a community brass and woodwind group that plays a variety of music, run by Lizuarte De Sousa. We accept flutes, clarinets, oboe, alto, tenor & baritone saxophones; trumpets, trombones, French horns, baritones, euphoniums, and tubas with at least 2+ years experience. The season runs from September through June. Rehearsals are Tuesday nights from 7-9 PM.
